Sam watched as his brother was sent to hell. Angel and Spike surveyed the damage of the battle in L.A. Buffy and her surviving friends set up a new Watcher's Council in England. The battle of good versus evil was far from over, even as evil seemed to have the stronger position. The PTB needed their champions. The Champions needed some hope. Enter magic, and the deal that they would all make.
Lost souls brought back, both good and evil. To prepare, to fight, to finish this battle. It would take everything and some may even switch sides. All in hopes of surviving, because the cost of losing, is your soul. So they are all gathering, slowly, finding each other, finding lost friends and lovers, not to mention enemies. They are all there to bet it. . .
