Yesterday was completely normal. Except for the blood bag, feeding of it was the only exception. Caroline had met up with Elena and Bonnie and had a slumber in Bonnie's house. Tequila and movies. Just.. Being regular teens. Caroline was happy. Just being a regular, normal teen made her happy. And the other two gals too, Caroline just knew it. Yesterday reminded them of the time where they only read about vampires. They didn't have to stress about being one. Or being a witch. Or a doppelganger. It reminded Caroline of the time where all she could stress out about was shallow things, like organizing school parties or being worried how she was never good enough compared to Elena. Family drama. Just teen drama overall. Caroline often daydreams about what her life would have turned out like if she hadn't had died. She tries her best to not dwell on the past, but every so often she can't help but wonder..
After leaving Bonnie's house in the morning, Caroline decided for the more faster route to opt for to get back home. Right through the woods of Mystic Falls of course. The sun was shining, it felt like one of those mornings in a tacky, cliched movie. Y'know, the one where the protagonist is so happy, the sun is shining behind him/her and a possible dancing and/or singing sequence is exposed to the viewer. Caroline.. Was definitely not going to dance in the middle of a forest alone, but she did have to take a moment to herself to admire how the sun portrayed the forest in the mornings. She leaned against the tree nearest to her and closed her eyes for a moment. Caroline truly felt serene for a short amount of time.
ooc; so, i guess having had barely any sleep for the past two days does have an effect on your writing. sorry for quality & quantity :C

Katherine had been rather bored as of lately, Everything in Elena's life was so slow and drawn out - It was actually boring. Most of the days she messed with Elena's friends, making her look like a real bitch. It had became quite a nice hobby for her.
Of course, Katherine had kept her tabs on the little gang that they had. It was rather ironic that these girls tried to act normal - It was down right pathetic honestly. They were powerful, they could have what they wanted and yet they wanted to try to be human? She flicked her tongue against her teeth making a loud clicking noise as she followed behind the newbie vampire.
Smirking as she walked up behind the young one. "AH! My dear dear friend Carolina....Or is it Caroline?" She gave a toothy grin. Looking at the sun. "You know, You should really consider yourselves lucky - Most vampires don't have the luck of watching the sun." She softly chuckled. "So how are you my young vampiric friend?" Nothing will eat at the girl then this, She knew Caroline she grinned. "Still wishing you were little blonde haired girl who would spend a few years happy for her age until she realizes that humans wither to nothing but wrinkles on a meat suit. You really should be thanking me - No clue why you are so angry with me" She shrugged messing with Carolina as a new vampire made it all the better - New vampires were crazy with their emotions being able to just go complete reverse instantly. Although it might make the little blonde girl attack her, Well - She hoped it did.

Of course that before mentioned bliss couldn't last. Caroline mentally slapped herself for actually really believing it would. She heard footsteps behind her and opened her eyes, unsure as to who it was. Right before she turned around she could hear the voice of the damned Katherine. It was still so very disturbing, how much they looked and sounded alike. Having Katherine in their lives made it harder to look at Elena, especially when the aforesaid one popped up to cause havoc among them. Caroline was still terrified of coming to anywhere of a close counter with her. Anyone in their right minds would be. Now, looking at her, Carolines emotions were a mix of distress and anger. Kind of logical, too. Katherine was the one to kill her after all. Being a newborn sucks enough as it is, those heightened emotions didn't help her at all. She backed away a few feet from her and frowned, crossing her arms on her chest. ''Oh, I'm so very lucky, thank you Katherine.'' She spoke in a scornful, sarcastic manner.
Caroline closed her eyes as Katherine spoke, as though she was trying to block her out. This was not what she wanted. Or needed at this very moment. She was still so fragile. She didn't need a reminder of what she was from the person she pretty much hated the most. And more so, from the person who made her who she was. If she could, she'd stake Katherine right there. But Caroline wasn't stupid, the fear she had knew came from knowing Katherine could easily dispose of her if she wanted to. She opened her eyes and looked right into hers, trying to compose of as cold of an facial expression as she could. ''What do you want?`'' She could feel the anger inside of her growing. ''Why are you even here, in Mystic Falls? I'm sure you know by now that you're not exactly welcomed around here.'' She told in anger, motioning her hands with her to make the point more clear. Katherine had to know it anyways.
Even the Salvatore brothers didn't want her around. Damon, who spent so many years searching for a way to reunite with her turned her back on her. Stefan clearly hated her. No one wanted her around. And that was distressful. Cause knowing her, she probably had some massive scheme up her hand, hanging around Mystic Falls when she isn't welcomed. And knowing her, that scheme probably involved a lot of dead people. If she hurt anymore of her friends Caroline wasn't sure if she could handle it. She could feel her face transform into a paler complexion, while blood rushed to her eyes with small veins protruding around the area. That's how much Katherine affected her. She contemplated attacking her for a split second, but used all of her energy to remain as calm as she could, her face transforming back to normal.

She wanted to smile, aww How cute Caroline acting all big and tough now - It was almost worth snapping the little blondes neck in the first place. Her grin only widened as she spoke. "To be young and beautiful forever, Even if you're kind of a little bitch about it." She shrugged as she turned around. "Oh I don't know what I want, Maybe I am here to have a bit more fun - Maybe even kill some of your old friends - Or turn them... Perks of being me I guess" She couldn't help but be proud of this little newborn. Watching her make her little angry face as she grin widened. "Awww - For a second there I was actually Hoping you might try to attack me... I Really wanted to snap your neck again, Maybe even do it a dozen times..."
Slowly turning around and walking away slowly. "I'm here for my own reasons and I just wanted to visit my little favorite blonde spitfire who likes to mouth off to the wrong people" Her eyes narrowed on the little girl. "What I want for you - Is your help in a matter, You help me and I will be happy - See?" She smiled and pointed to it. "Don't and I will have to kill that little cute guy who works at that bar, What is his name? Mitch? Match? " She grinned. "And since I know that you will go crying to Elena and friends I won't let you know what it is I want you to do until it needs to be done" She winked. "It's a surprise!" Her wide grin returned. "It's something that will.... Be blown out of proportions I'm sure but It will be fun none the less" She shrugged.
"Unless of course, you...can...kill me right here..." She grinned as her eyes lowered looking into Caroline's. Running her hand over her own heart as she grinned. "Doesn't it kill you, to know you can stop me right here - Yet are too weak to do it?" She smiled.

Caroline sighed with displeasure. Her and Katherine did not have the same views on what a perfect life was, that was for sure. She didn't share her enthusiasm of living forever. It seemed like for Katherine it was a bliss, for Caroline.. Not so much. Maybe one day she'll be more accepting of living forever, but for now she was sort of .. Grieving. It was so weird to accept that in the year 2340, Caroline would still be looking 17. That is if she made it that far. She was really starting to question it, the more and more she saw Katherine or even heard about her. Caroline frowned as to what Katherine continued to talk about. Someone hurting her loved ones - these days that was her worst fear. She couldn't bring herself to say anything back to her, in fear of what she might do. She's got about 500 years of experience of being a vampire ahead of her, she didn't really stand a chance. Mentioning snapping her neck really stressed that point out. Caroline looked away from the vampire, remaining silent and remembering how it felt like to wake up in the hospital after Katherine killed her.
The blonde-spitfire remark made her roll her eyes for a slight second. ''How thoughtful of you,'' she muttered under her breath, keeping her eyes locked on a branch on the ground in front of her. When she talked about Caroline helping her, she could not manage to hide the disgusted facial expression that immediately appeared on her face. Without a doubt, Caroline would never help her. Caroline would even team up with Damon to help KILL her. That was, until Katherine elaborated. ''Matt?'' she uttered, feeling paralyzed. Her heart started pounding at an immensely fast rate. Sure, Katherine always managed to strike fear into her, but this time.. It was different. Caroline was completely terrified in the out-of-her-mind-terrified way. She took her eyes off the ground and looked at her in awe. When Katherine finished rambling, Caroline still hadn't moved a single muscle. The only thing she could add was ''You and I have a different idea of what fun is.'' One of the last things Caroline wanted was to be a pawn in Katherine's game. To help Katherine.. That idea made her sick in the stomach.
God how that lookalike could really get to her. She just knew what buttons to push. Watching Katherine's hands run over her chest, Caroline felt so, so helpless. All she wanted to do was rip her heart out of her chest so it could all be over with. Mystic Falls would become much more safer for her and others around her. She opened her mouth to say that she can be patient too when needed, that death is lurking right around the corner for Katherine and that she'll do what she can to help put a stop to her. But threatening Matt really took a toll on her, she was still very shaken up with everything. Her having to help her, Matt being in danger every single second from now on.. No, that was too much for her to endure.

She grinned looking at the girl, it looked so cute when she was all worried and bothered. All about her little human boyfriend. Katherine's hand slowly went up to Caroline's face and rubbed it as she smiled. "Aww, you look so cute when you're mad...." Hearing the statement about different idea of what fun is. "Oh little one, If only you knew half of the things I do you would know it's mostly work - but I'm allowed to have a bit o fun with Elena's friends" She winked and grabbed a bit of her cheek and pulled it. "Don't worry dear, It won't be too much that I ask - I Know your whole moral compass is as straight as an arrow.... Well, Besides that one little screw up..." She winked.
"You know, It's soooooo boring being so uptight like you are....Live a little - You only have what? Forever? Well, Unless you piss someone off enough to kill you...." She shrugged as she turned around and walked away. "You know, At times you can be such a good little girl Caroline - Now make mommy proud and go have some fun" She winked. "I'll be waiting for you to screw up" She winked. "But, I guess it would be a blessing for Matt - Who wants to grow old and wrinkly? It's truly god awful to watch" She grinned evilly to her. It was too easy to manipulate this entire town. "Oh, And do me a favor - When you see the Salvatore brothers, Give them a nice smack on the ass for me, Maybe a bit of a squeeze as well" She softly chuckled with that she turned around. "And don't try anything funny with Matt - Or I will butcher the entire grill, Then maybe go to the school and have some fun there as well." Her eyes looked at hers for a moment. "Have fun my fun little blonde. Oh - And you might need this" She tossed the girl a cellphone. "I'll call you when it's time" Much too do, Little time to do it in.

A little while ago Caroline could have never thought of feeling this much hate. Every bone in her body just.. Hated Katherine. A cold shiver went down her spine as Katherine stroke her face. Caroline couldn't ever understand how someone could be as malicious as Katherine was. Torturing people was a 'bit of fun'? Caroline had no intention of wanting to know what a real blast for Katherine was in that case. She took two steps back, when she had pinched her cheek, both of her hands now clenched into fists. She was just so angry. And terrified. And discouraged. All at the same time. And then she heard ''besides that one little screw up'' and it felt like her heart decided stop beating overall. It felt like how authors usually wrote about people seeing ghosts in one of their books. Even though she didn't want to, the flashback of Carter in the Carnival event came spiraling to her head. How his nose bled and how hungry she was and all that she could think of back then was driving her fangs into his veins.
By the time she snapped back into reality, Katherine was into an another subject already. "You know, It's soooooo boring being so uptight like you are....Live a little - You only have what? Forever? Well, Unless you piss someone off enough to kill you...."Caroline huffed. Uptight? Oh, she hated when people judged her for something like that. And yet again, Katherine managed to push all the right buttons and push herself into Carolines fears. ''You are aware that there's a way to live so you actually manage not come across as a spiteful bitch, right?'' She exclaimed and tilted her head, looking scornfully at her. ''And as much as I can remember, you've pissed off plenty of people for them to want you dead, forever might not be long for you too.'' As soon as she had blunted out those sentences, she felt both regret and relief. Giving Katherine her piece of mind after so long was so great, but Caroline wasn't sure how Katherine would react to them. And that was unnerving.
I'll be waiting for you to screw up. Caroline had no doubt about it. For her that just meant that she'd have to try harder and harder to continue to be, as Katherine mentioned, 'a good little girl'. When Matt's name came up, Caroline closed her eyes. She couldn't even stand Katherine mention his name without feeling queasy. ''I'll do what you want if you leave Matt unharmed.''' She proclaimed, her voice slightly pleading. Now she understood why her comments before should have been left unsaid. She didn't feel relief anymore, only regret.
"Oh, And do me a favor - When you see the Salvatore brothers, Give them a nice smack on the ass for me, Maybe a bit of a squeeze as well" Caroline decided to not comment on Katherine and the brother threesome she had and just went by rolling her eyes. Her threats that followed though, made it clear to her why she feared Katherine so much. Once again, Caroline felt petrified and didn't move before she had to catch that cellphone. Fear, anxiety. Those were the emotions she knew she'd have from this moment on, waiting for the phone to ring. Or .. Not ring, to be precise.
